The population of Putlan is one of the oldest in North Ilandia, with a third of the population being 55+. Of this 4,780,000 people:

Government

Putlan traditionally is a rather conservative city, but in the last elections the FPD, a socialist party, won, and the city therefore is led by an instable coalition of conservative and socialist parties. Putlan, altough being led by soacialists, has very low taxes, even for the North Ilandian standards. In Putlan the average person only pays 12% of its income for taxes.
