History
The Anti-Communist Cartel was founded in 1961 by Rudolf Wilson and was meant to destroy local communist communities.
In 1962 Rudolf Wilson was shot by communist authorities and the organisation was formally disbanded.
His lieutenant, William Manil, however had other plans and secretly revived the organisation at the end of the year.
The organisation, which operated a lot more professionally, terrorised everyone in the ghetto's of Framton who supported the communists and killed at least 43 people in 1963 alone.
At the end of the Fourth Ilandian War the organisation split in numerous smaller gangs, each hunting down suspected communists and/or doing criminal crimes.
One of these organisations, the Saint-Vitus Anti-Communist Gang, became a government associate and suppressed all communist tendencies in the Saint Vitus neighbourhood.
As the communist threat weakened the successor gangs each focused more and more on crimes.
In the 1970s the successors fought the famous "Great Cartel War" in Framton.
The massive vacuüm after this war was filled by the East End Cartel, which became the most notorious and powerful gangs in the world. With the war on crime in the 90s almost all organised crime in West Ilandia fell apart, only the East End Gang partially survived.
Altough not very powerful, the gang still controlls some alleys of Framton and remains the most powerful organised criminal organisation.
