Historical Details

History

In 1672 the Count of Dugusto, Darius Espuci d'Anguva, ordered the monks of the Abbey of Saint Bartholomew in Portuzia to write down all the aspects of the Portuzian culture. It is unknown why he wanted them to write down all of this but experts suggest he might've wanted to use it to tax the Portuzians more. After almost 40 years of gathering sources and writing the Codex was made.

Public Reaction

Only the ruling class welcomed it as they now were able to tax cultural events of the folks even more.
