Torog

The god of torture and the Underdark, Torog is an evil god, whose wish is to cruelly rule over the Wandering Expanse.  A lover of pain and suffering, Torog uses arcane magic to twist conquered humaniods into his unwilling suffering servants.  In Current History, very little was known about him, until his forces emerged from the Underdark and attacked the lands of Gaulthoth in 1023 CH.
During the Legend Age, Torog wished to expand his empire of the Underdark into the surface world, and he came very close to doing so.  The first lands that he attacked was the star elf nation of Aloro.  The nation had a paladin named Greyon who was sent to stop Torog from coming to the surface.  When it appeared the paladin would lose, in he dying breath, he used his magic to cruse and bind Torog to his underground domain where he would live out the rest of time, or so it seemed.
The star elves built doorways to seal Torog's underground domain.  When one of these doorways was discovered by the 7 Heros in 1021 CH, they accidentally opened it releasing Torog's forces upon Gaulthoth.  Although still bound to the Underdark, the god unleashed his forces to retake the lands that he felt should have been his thousands of years before.  The Torog wars, as the people of the region called them began in CH 2023.  The highlight of the war was the Battle of Larry Kick Jerry in 1024 when the armies of the Underdark attacked the City of Seven Heros.
The War concluded in 1027 when Torog was killed by the 7 Heros, but not without loss.
