The Mountain Peaks

Home of the stoneskinned and coldhearted Oreiad of the High Empire, the Mountain Peaks form the uppermost echelon of environments and civilizations on Ticonderos . Once home to half of the six Elder Wyrms and central in the great war in the Dragonlord's early conquest of the continent, the Mountain Peaks are a shadow of their former glory. Little aside from the Oreiad people can survive at such heights and temperatures.
And yet, even upon these lonely summits, the Oreiad Empire is an ancient and fascinating culture with a complicated history and a turbulent present.
