Reapers

The Reapers are the servants of the God of Death and Time. They are responsible for organizing and guiding lost souls to the underworld, or Sheol.

Structure

Everyone is pretty much equal, as everyone has the same job. Everyone reports to God of Death and Time and .   As both their God and Voronoi are out of commission, they have pretty much just come to a consensus between themselves to guide as many souls as possible to Sheol. There's not a lot of structure, but everyone does their job to the best of their ability. They are guided by the , , and .

Assets

Magical items they have picked up on their travels. They tend to run into a lot of dead people, so they scavenge what they can. Each member has a skeletal right hand that they use to interact with ghosts or souls that they reap. Each member also carries a cage or a bag or something to carry the souls they reap.

History

The Reapers were born out of necessity, and out of respect for the God of Death and Time. As the world's population grew, not every soul could guide itself back to Sheol. There used to be Churches and Clerics for the God of Death and Time, but as they realized how much work there was to be done, they disbanded and formed the Reapers to help guide and organize souls so that the God of Death and Time could focus on higher responsibilities like the rehabilitation evil souls and supervision of the eternal river.

Disbandment

The Reapers took two pretty big hits to their organization. The first was the disappearance of the God of Death and Time, followed closely by Voronoi to go look for her. This left the Reapers without a clear leader, and without a beacon by which souls could travel to. They still were able to organize themselves a bit to handle their new responsibilities, and they worked harder than ever to guide the dead.   The second major hit was the escape of the evil souls. The guards to the evil souls had themselves become more and more twisted and insane from the ravings and ramblings of those souls. Eventually, a prison break was successfully completed. The majority of the guards were either killed or turned mad, and many Reapers were killed in the escape. After that, many Reapers never returned to Sheol, and instead used their abilities to reap and place souls, without ever refreshing the souls in the eternal river.

Tenets of Faith
