Ryota lost his left arm in battle.
While on a trip to the Hidden Forest, where The Party was ambushed by Paladins Holy Nation. In the ensuing fight, Ryota experienced limb shock to his left leg, and his left arm was cut clean off. After being carried to World's End, he eventually got a bionic replacement.
