Patriarch

Patriarchs or Matriarchs are the senior clergy of the Imperial Tathamite Church governing over the clerical affairs of a planet, station or continental region of Aesalia. The Patriarchs wield significant influence often directing the affairs of the templars placed within their care while balancing the needs of the church against its charitable obligations. Patriarchs are also responsible for the appointment of the Grand Cleric.
