A world promised to the void, slowly being devoured by an uncontrollable nothing. This world is made up of five continents that guard against this void that only grows, and shares the name of the borders between civilization and the void: the Veil. The five different continents all hold different culture and backgrounds, but all share an understanding that the void cannot be allowed to further spread. Each country achieves this through different means and success, but this is the main goal of all.   The story/campaign will take place in the Northern continent, the leader in military strength against the Void and the closest to the center continent, which acts as a beneficiary of sorts. The Northern continent is also one of the larger land masses, and contains icy mountains towards the North (a lot of which have been consumed), a more temperate, rocky shore to the South, and forested areas across the land. It has many resources in the way of lumber and minerals for building and trade, however, the entire continent is rich with magical minerals as well. They find ingenious ways to use these and secure resources with these as well.   The continent is technically made up of three separate countries/nations, but one political and military power in particular holds unparalleled influence throughout the entire land: The All Seeing Eye, or The Seers. Characterized by their strong discipline, skill in purification and combat, and their obsession with their faith, the Holy guard is made up of clerics, paladins, templars, and non-fighter class members that provide support and information. Each with their own division that trains and evaluates themselves and each other. Founded by an elite group of clerics and paladins who first pushed back the Northern Veil with the power gained from their goddess, Le'Sy (or just Sy). They have a special class that takes up this legacy, called Sycera. Seers of a kind that channel the divine power of Le'Sy to do tasks other than simple combat and healing. Many uses, many paths.   The Holy Guard has strongholds lining the mountains and forests along the veil and strategic spots, giving them a dominating presence. Their organization is well looked upon by the people, however, regardless of how threatening they are to political officials. As such, they have many friends. Some of these "friends" will travel to the Northern most stronghold closest to the North Void. Fas'Sy, hidden light, is this stronghold, and it takes its after the large obsidian-like towers that are almost invisible in the ash and darkness in the atmosphere due to its close proximity to the Void.   An evaluation is currently taking place within
