Zlotna, City of Trade

A bustling metropolis of trade and craft built atop and inside the largest of Vast Sky's islands. Home to the Guild Consortium.

Demographics

Zlotna, like many other cities, is the home to all kinds of tradesmen, most prominently tinkerers, dollmakers, smiths, shipmakers, builders, and sailors. All guild masters and most of their secondants live here. Zlotna also has the highest population of Dolls.

Zlotna is governed by the Guild Consortium.

Industry & Trade

Zlotna houses many factories and is the main provider of all things mechanical, Dolls, and skyships. It also houses universities for craftsmen and is the main trade hub for folk from other settlements.
For import, Zlotna trades largely for food, cloth, wood, and other materials, as it's natural resources are minute.

Infrastructure

On the surface of Zlotna are the majority of living spaces, as well as guild halls and shops, and an artificial lake. In the island's cavernous underbelly are various factories and workshops belonging to the guilds.
Zlotna has the biggest skyship port, the Strebro Docks, a major hub for trade with other island settlements.
On the outskirts of the central island is a ring of much smaller islands. These are home to the entertainment guilds, hosting theatres, concert halls, and other such venues.

Geography

Located on the largest of the sky islands which is mostly a flat plain with a cavernous underbelly. On the outskirts of this island are many more smaller islands forming a ring around it.

Natural Resources

Zlotna's island is one of the most devoid of natural resources (other than skysrock). As such, the city largely depends on import from other settlements.
In the past, many metals could be found within the island, though these have been almost mined out at this point.
