Adelaide Baskerville is one of several notable members of the Baskerville Dukedom of Eisenfau and the runaway lover of Elena Bellasara. She along with Silver Circuit became known as the heroes who had killed Akinari and prevented wicked scheme to sow chaos in all things.

Childhood:

Adelaide's childhood has been muted and miserable from the very beginning, with the most fun she ever had as at her young age was playing with a little gold pocket watch she had inherited from her late mother-in-law who was thought to have died of natural causes before it is revealed to be her father, Vorsalis Baskerville who had scarified her to Akinari to maintain both his bloodline's power as well as his youth. Many people often mistake Vorsalis for Adelaide's older brother as a consequence.

Adolescence:

Throughout Adelaide's life, she never saw eye-to-eye with her father. This was amplified by the death of her mother and so her miserable life began to manifest in the form of her Depression. She lost interest in activities and figured she was better off dead until her and her sister Alyce miraculously prevented the sacrifice of Adelaide in a fatal encounter with an unknown entity that presumably killed Vorsalis. These details are recorded in the entries of the local authorities and likely suggests that Akinari may have made an appearance to prevent Vorsalis from carrying out another ritual. What exactly transpired is unknown, but it leaves the question for what reason would Akinari stop Vorsalis. Adelaide and Alyce were reported missing by the authorities after this event with little trace but the preparation of the ritual.

Adult Years:

Not much is known about Adelaide after she turned 18, what is known is that she had joined up with a group of local assassins and quickly became one of the most effective killers due to both her father's callousness during her formative years and her festering depression. Her ties to Akinari gives her access to powerful illusion magic. She met Elena shortly at the age of 20 after a mysterious individual ordered her to assassinate the Medic and Chief Research Scientist of the DML, Dr. Elena Bellasara. Elena intercepted the assassination attempt, killed the rest of her squad and took a liking to the goth youth. Due to this, she was taken under custody by her and subjected to experimentation in the form of forcing her into an adventuring party. It turns out that the Manic Elena and the Depressed Adelaide hit it off pretty well for a couple originally trying to kill each other. Elena would prevent them from being tracked, and in return Adelaide decided to stay with her for a while, falling in love and rekindling that emotion she was never allowed to have.

Powers and Abilities:

Adelaide's had the abilities of a Warefox ever since her mother's death. This grants her power of illusions, both for defense as well as offense. The flowing of Akinari's blood in veins also grants her the cleverness and resourcefulness of a fox outside of combat as well and leaves her setting unique traps when given the time to prepare. Like most lycanthropes, Adelaide has the ability to transform into a humanoid fox, granting her resistance to most common weapons as well as fire and lightning. She is also stated that she utilizes this form in order to "try out Elena's toys" which are said to be set to a lethal voltage only the two of them have been able to withstand without passing out.
The Baskerville Incuse:

The Baskerville Incuse is the name of the pocket-watch Adelaide is often seen carrying. It bears both the Baskerville Dukedom Crest as well as a music box inside to play a melodic, yet somber tune. Elena really likes it and finds it "fancy." After Adelaide died dueling Akinari and her followers alongside Elena and Silver Circuit her restless spirit dwelled within the watch, unable to pass on without saying goodbye to the love of her life. It is said that those who play the song in full are pulled down into the Abyss, ravaged by demons if they don't make it past a minute on the watch.
Death and Aftermath:

Much later after Adelaide died, the revealed abuse that she had to endure by her father was brought to light after the DML lead a search party to both find Vorsalis as well as discover what happened that fateful night of Adelaide and Alyce's teen years. It is revealed that Vorsalis had been using his illusion powers to convince in Adelaide's mind that it was indeed her fault that her mother died among many other lies, causing her depression to spiral downward.
