The Dyadic Theory of Existence posits there are two primary planes of reality in which all realms reside: the High Wilderness, plane of the gods and other primordial beings, and the Low Wilderness, plane of mortals. This theory describes a top-like structure where these two planes spin about an invisible central axis of "being" that holds together the fabric of universe. Realms which lie closer to this axis are more stable while those further out are less so. It is in these far reaches of the High and Low planes that reality bends, obeying the desires of the one with the greatest ability to impose their will on the fabric of reality. Around, between, and outside of all this is the Aether, the original Nothing from which all was created. That which lies inside the realms of the dyadic planes is referred to as the Constant, while that which exists in the Aether is referred to as Formless. Where the Neath falls into this system, however, is not clear. Gods of some sort clearly call the realm their home, but no other realm discovered before the Falls had such a proclivity for attracting things to it. It also appears to be somewhat removed from the view of the deities residing in the High Wilderness, which is rather alarming.
