The Sheep of North Ronaldsay (4 Herbem / Year)
An ancient breed of sheep resides on one of the islands, and confined to the seashore, they have adapted by surviving only on a diet of seaweed. These flocks of sheep are looked after by the local covenfolk. This causes their fleece to take on an unusual green tone, and when shorn up to four times a year, produce quantities of Herbem vis that are otherwise scarce on the island.
