The Covenant Library

Originally located on the island of Orkney, the library was moved in 1219 from Scappa Flow to the Covenant of An Cuidreach. The library is located on a dedicated floor several floors up, inside the Prison.     BOOKS:

The Orkneyinga Saga:

The Heimskringla  - “Circle of Worlds” 

Heimskringla is a collection of sagas about Swedish and Norwegian kings, beginning with the saga of the legendary Swedish dynasty of the Ynglings, followed by accounts of historical Norwegian rulers from Harald Fairhair of the 9th century up to the death of the pretender Eystein Meyla in 1177. The first words of the saga compilation, written by Snorri Sturluson, are “the orb of the Earth”.
The saga narrates the contests of the kings, the establishment of the kingdom of Norway, Viking expeditions to various European countries, ranging as far afield as Palestinein the saga of Sigurd the Crusader.

Judgement of the Tribunal of 879

A detailed account from Queasitor Vermithraxus Metus of the rulings where the Magi of Scapa Flow gradually built trust between themselves and the Norse Magi in violation of the Code of Hermes. The covenant was later condemned, and forced to pay a fine of four rooks of vis, and ordered to exterminate the runic sorcerers of the Orkneys or recruit them.

Makes the target dance until he has no Fatigue levels or the duration ends. Every round he has to make a Stamina Ease Factor of 6, or lose a Fatigue level. (Effect: Base 17, +2 Voice, +2 Sun, +4 12/day, for a total of 39 levels)

The Minute of Reckoning ReVi 15 - Found in the Prison, behind a mirror

This opens a magical tunnel between the caster and the target. Spells cast through the tunnel can be up to the level of the target of this spell. Unlike Opening the Intangible Tunnel, this spell does not require concentration. Therefore, the tunnel cannot also be closed by ceasing to concentrate.
Despite the name of this spell, it actually lasts for 2 minutes.

The Master's Message - Found in the Prison, behind a mirror

R: Touch D: Moon T: Individual
This spell opens a tunnel between the caster and a character he touches. Once cast, the tunnel remains in place even if the character breaks contact. The purpose of this spell is to open a tunnel between the character and a grog.
Spells cast through this may be up to one Magnitude greater than the magnitude of this spell.
(Base effect, +1 Touch, +3 Moon)
