The Tower

The Tower is a massive forested structure akin to a crystalline growth. A central earth pillar with numerous spires out to the sides. The people in this world live on the surfaces of the spires, in the ruins left behind by the old world. It is as if a traditional planet world was twisted into an unnatural, impossible shape.   The "people" of this world consist of all manner of creatures, be it anthropomorphic or more traditional mythical creatures. Some people travel in groups of a dozen at best, while others live within small villages that server as bartering centres.   There is no real over-arching government, or law. It could be argued that each spire of The Tower is akin to a country, and travel between spires is possible if one has (or is friends with) the power of flight.   Whether anything exists outside The Tower is unknown, it may just be an endless plane. The people of this world do not feel it necessary to seek outside it.
