The Seven Realms

Legend says that Iona was once ruled by seven kingdoms, separated by the mountain ranges and deep gulfs that divide the continent into six segments around a single circle, Sintaren. These mythological "Realms," generally coincide with the borders of the Imperial administrative regions.
