Malik

Malik is an old realm, full of forests and swamps still showing the scars of her Imperial conquest, centuries ago. Once ruled by a dozen proud noble houses, descended from various extraplanar lineages, the Realm has been in decline since it was conquered, and many of the ancient houses have fallen from grace.
Home to the oldest colleges in the Realms, there is little else of interest to most Imperials in Malik. Outside of the settlements along the coast and those which support the colleges, Malik is largely one great marsh. While the Imperial Legion and the Imperial Archmage have a great deal of sway in the realm, ultimately the Colleges of Malik are distinct and independent entities, with their own treaties with the Emperor dictating the terms of their service.
