Khol Doral

Summary

Khol Doral is a mining settlement in the southeast of Brillund, nestled in a mountain range that extends as far south as the Celestial Seas. The miners there are especially gruff, and tend to be resentful even of aid that they have requested.

Khol Doral is one of several cities and towns in Brillund to have an Imperial Tower, used by the Imperial Legion and Royal Guard to travel around the Realms. As such, it is somewhat of a hub for Imperial activity, despite the attitude of the residents.

Royal Guard Campaign

On one occasion, the Dwarves of Khol Doral were approached by a small group of goblins seeking Imperial Citizenship. By misunderstanding or malice, members of the Royal Guard were dispatched, rather than a member of the Imperial Census. After killing a band of goblin soldiers that had infiltrated the town hall, the Guards discovered the weaker members of the tribe and their intention to gain citizenship. Having given the tribe sufficient food for a substantial time, the Guards took Chief Gutwad to the Imperial City and personally escorted him to the Census.
