Unseon

A vehicle that is able to travel the Yeongseon. Using Yeoltanso, these craft are able to levitate the craft to make them easily transportable.   Due to the fact that most animals in Gyerim avoid the yeongseon, unseon are typically pulled by specially bred Paseok to increase their endurance and pulling strength. Although not always the most ideal because they are not very fast and smaller than most beast of burdens, they are extremely easy to direct and have good traction on inclines. Due to their feet and the gripping claws that they use to help increase their traction, grass and vegetation is normally trimmed back on the yeongseon, but not removed or paved over to prevent their claws turning the surface to mud. Small paved track-ways are added in some routes used for heavy cargo to facilitate the use of the paths by regular wagons and unseon.   There are several variants of unseon that are common on the yeongseon. Passenger unseon are vehicles designed to carry groups of up to 6 people plus a tender. These are normally enclosed and contain spaces for small amounts of cargo like luggage. Several cargo variants also exist ranging from a simple modified open wagon design to enclosed, secure coaches designed for carrying valuables.   Two key features are common to almost all designs. First is that they are made from light materials whenever possible. Light, but strong hardwoods are highly prized among unseon makers. Water-resistant fabrics and other materials are also used where possible. The other common feature is that they all have small wheel structures to facilitate use off of the yeongseon for unloading, changing teams, and other practical needs.
