The SunLocket

Welcome to The SunLocket. This is a land where nature and urban cities combine. Magic users and creatures mingle with folks of all kind in the big city while mysteries lay in the darkness of the woods.   The SunLocket is a small archipelago, consisting of the mainland, and three surrounding clusters of islands. The north has the small town of DreamHeavy, a town of dwarves that mine the iron that the northern islands are rich with. The town sells the iron they mine to the city of Luxxe on the mainland. To the south there's the southern islands, with the town of HazyWiddows. It's a town in the woods that's been mostly abandoned due to most of the half elves that did live there moving to the big city.   The biggest city in the SunLocket is the city of Luxxe. It's a huge, sprawling magical metropolis in the heart of the SunLocket. Outside the main city center there are several small towns.   On the surface Luxxe is a booming metropolis with a government working like a well oiled machine, led by beloved Tortle mayor Gad Galou. He's passed laws that some might say are strict but to him and his supporters it's for the good of the citizens and the world.   Those laws being a restriction of some forms of magic. Necromancy, Blood Magic, Infernal Magic, and any spells that can be used to control others. Many of the wizards and sorcerers of the city believe that restricting magic does nothing to help people and only hurts the people of the city. In the underground there are several guilds of illegal magic users. the largest guild is the Necromancy guild.   All throughout the city also lays a sprawling crime family. The family has their influence everywhere from the guilds of the underground, the bars and inns, the circus on the outskirts of the city, and even all the way to several positions in the government. Many citizens who know of the Licaris family believe they're the ones who are really in charge.   Hazy Widdows is a nearly abandoned community on the largest of the southern islands.   Dreamheavy is an iron mining town on the northern islands that's mainly populated by dwarves.   Colorgate is a larger town north of Luxxe. It's an artsy community that's an upper middle class community.   Infinite is an old money wealthy community by the beach. There are several wealthy families that live in this very close knit town.   Lastnights is a town that most people avoid. :)   Moonstone is another wealthy community but it's more of a wealthy collage town.   Sandend is a small lake town. Most people in Sandend specialize in fishing and working on the docks, and it's become a popular vacation spot for the wealthy folks.   Brightash is a small industrial town that's one of the poorest communities in the Sunlocket.
