Major Rivers

The continent of the Story is divided into five major basins, four of which have major rivers. All rain that falls within each area eventually leads to the sea via the major river a basin is named after, if it exists.

Great River Basin

The Great River Basin is located on the north of the continent. It drains into the North Sea, and encompasses the Great River, the Djang River, and the Farest River.
At the headwaters of the Great River stands the Inassailable Fortress of the Confederation of the Free.

Fertile River Basin

The Fertile River Basin is located on the east of the continent. It drains into the Sunwards Sea, and is dominated by the eponymous Fertile River.

Knifecut Basin

The Knifecut Basin consists of two major rivers that both drain into Knifecut Bay. On the west side of the bay is Badwater River, the famously toxic river that runs straight through the least civilized areas of the continent. On the east side is the Elysium River.

West River Basin

Contains the West River.

Unnamed Basin

To be named. Consists only of minor rivers past the east mountains and drains into the west sea.
