Armor, Shields and Others Table:

Type: Armor Divides in eh following types:
  • Cloth: Normally made with many layers of clothing or sturdy fabrics, offers low protection and great mobility
  • Tactical: Armors made by special fabrics, polymers, latex and similar materials, made to cover most of the body and being light as possible
  • Leather: Armor made by layers of treated animal skin, offer good protection and mobility
  • Chain: Armor made by intertwined metal rings, normally noisy and heavy and should be worn over cloth
  • Plate: Armor made by large metal plates that cover singular extensions of the body, normally worn over cloth or lighter armor, offers great protection in exchange of mobility because its weight
  • Wearing Armor if you aren't Proficient: The Armor Bonus value will be reduced in half when you wear the armor (minimum 1), and the armor penalty will be applied to your Atack rolls Armor Bonus: Defensive value of the armor. This bonus adds to the wearers Armor Class (AC) Maximum Dexterity Bonus: The maximum dexterity modifier bonus that this armor allows, if your dexterity is 18 (+3 Modifier), and the armor you are wearing is has a Maximum dexterity bonus of +1, you can only add a +1 of dexterity bonus on your AC
    Armor Penalty: The heaver and bulkier the armor, the more will hinder you on your Acrobatic, Climb, Escape Artist, Sleight of the Hand, Stealth, and Swim checks
    Speed: Heavier armors can hinder your movement speed, as the following categories:
  • Normal: You move at your normal speed while wearing this armor
  • Slow: You move on a slower speed as depicted on the following table while you are wearing this armor
  • Hefty: Same as slow, but while running you move at the triple of your speed instead the normal quadruple

    Arcane Failure: Armor intervene with the gestures of the arcane spell casters; every armor and shield imposes you a probability that the spells you are trying to cast is lost. Unless you had the Class Feat Armored Arcane Casting is not recommended wearing armor is you are an arcane spellcaster
    Weight: This column gives the armor weight
    Purchase DC: This is the Wealth check to buy the armor in the open market
    Restriction: The restriction rating for the armor (if any), and the DC modifier to purchase on the black market. Remember to apply this modifier when purchasing armor without the appropriate license

    Armor Descriptions:

    Armored Duster:

    Long leather coat that covers all the body, has added defense since its covered in metal plates on the arms, shoulders and torso, but is heavier than the normal duster. Used by some Special Forces and High-Ranking Mercenaries

    Armored Rags:

    Layers of cloth covered with some metal plates, allowing better protection in exchange of mobility. Mostly used by Tribals, Bandits, and some Pauper Gangs, and Vagrants

    Armored Streetwear:

    This set consist mainly of a leather jacket, paddings for the elbows and knees, sturdy boots, and other accessories that can provide protection, this attire was never intended to be an armor, but street gangs and others like to use those pieces as armor, as longs its works
