Bolstered by House Redfield, the New Faland Empire assaulted the Western Mountains.

The invasion of the western mountains was a long, 23 year affair. Even with House Redfield's help, the Western Mountains were incredibly well-fortified. The drow also invaded during this war, which slowed progress down heavily. In the end, the kobold regions and drow tunnels remained independent, while the human-occupied areas joined the New Faland Empire.
