Forsaken

The Shining Citadel was the most vast and wealthy city throughout the Expanse Now it remains in ruin.
It’s once proud people cursed and banished from their home, now wander the land. Sentient and capable of speech, most try to regain a sense of purpose, while other simply wish to finally die.
None know why their Citadel fell or why they were cursed, it remains a mystery.
In Alione the forsaken are hunted, murdered or captured as they are seen as a bad omen. Those that escape the island often find a home in other areas of the expanse, putting their skills to good use. Most earn coin in the shadows of cities, doing the jobs no mortal would wish to carry out, while others seek adventure and glory becoming mercenaries or budding adventurers. Regardless of their path, wherever a forsaken goes they are judged on their apperance. Most do not take kindly to skeletons, let alone the sentient imteligent variety.
