Boonu (L/G)
Boonu is the god of corn, grain, and the harvest. He is the god of the earth, of agriculture, and of fertility in general. Sacred to him are livestock and agricultural products.
Boonu is also known for creating the Fruitkin and the Day of the Sun. These are huge festivals held every five years and are considered very important events across the world. Yet, little is known about them as those attending are sworn to secrecy. It is thought that the central tenet around which the Day of the Sun revolves is that, just like grain returns every spring after its harvest and the winter lull, so does the human soul after the death of the body, reincarnated in a next life.
