The third of the Three Founding Orders of Solar Knights. The Wind Dancers focus all their study to the manipulation of energy fields that The Solar Winds affords them. These are the Solar Knights who do not wield weapons - they themselves are the weapons. Specializing in utilizing every single energy field within reach, whether as great as the thermal reactor core or as small as the electrical field in the human body, they can hurl balls of energy at the enemy, erect force fields, absorb laser fire with their hands, and even imbue standard electrical equipment with vast electro-magnetic advantages. Nothing says "wizard" like a Wind Dancer!

These are the most ritualistic and least technological of all the Orders. They often wear robes and meditate for hours at a time. They are the masters of "speaking to the Winds", of compelling it to obey their every wish. They see the universe differently than most, even other knights; they feel the very vibrations of the molecules in the body, the electricity flaring form neuron to neuron, the heat generated by the muscles, they see energy in all things and energy can be manipulated...harnessed...controlled.
They have an apprentice/master relationship within their Order. The apprentice trains for years, learning to control their emotions, their idle thoughts, their dark desires, for even the slightest loss of control could be disastrous to a Wind Dancer. They are the artillery of the battlefield, wielding the destructive firepower of a tank, a battleship, or sometimes an entire army. They learn to control themselves at all times, to be calculating and most of all, observant.
By being aware of the energies in the universe around them, they can see the weapons at their disposal, or see how to counter the energies being directed at them. They have extensive rituals to learn to be sensitive to The Solar Winds, some to calm their emotions, others to focus their emotions, and yet others to open their minds to the energies around them. They respect power in allies, and seem to treat the more mundane with less respect or attention. They don't mean to come off as haughty, but excellence, drive, commanding presence, and severe focus is how they live their lives and they view those that don't, as wasting their lives.
