Korroki

For those used to more temperate climates and cushy lifestyles, Korrok seems like the worst place one could settle down. For many Korroki, however, the harsh, demanding environment they call home provides them with the ideal lifestyle. Korroki are forged under blistering heat, being put to work at a young age in an extremely demanding climate. This challenging lifestyle turns Korroki children into persevering workhouses as a young age, a characteristic that remains ingrained within them throughout their lives. Fitness, dedication, and mental fortitude become necessary traits for the average Korroki to possess; unless they wish to be consumed and destroyed by the society around them. Korroki tend to have very dark, occasionally faintly shiny, skin. Their irises are usually a very dark brown, effectively black, colour - however, a fairly common genetic quirk leads to many Korroki having vibrant red irises.
