Having just graduated high school, Zane, Daysja, Kevin, and Damian go out to a party to celebrate their accomplishment. That night, one of them gets snatched up by an unknown creature and the others are forced to follow as they're dragged into a portal to another world. Now stranded and trapped in a dangerous, foreign land, where people known as shapers command the elements at will, the four young adults must band together in order to survive this unknown world; with the help of their new, woodshaping companion, A'Kayah, will they be able to find a way back home?
