Formorians

Many will claim that even for all the horrors that lurk in Shadesmere, there are few sights as hideous as a formorian. These twisted giant-kin suffer from a curse for some forgotten ill against their goddess, each new generation suffering the same nature of deformities as the last. They tend to be weaker than their giant-kin bretheren, but make up for it with their skill for magic.   Descended from great sorcerer-kings of giantkin, the Formorians carry on a rich arcane history. Reclusive due to the nature of their curse, many of them hide in great labyrinthe cities where they weave wonders the likes of which many mortals will never see.
