Voces Diablerium

  center]

Overview

A pristine leather-bound and metal plated tome from the Library of the Sigil, marked with the eponymous seal set in Silver, indicating it was added to the collection and not a part of the initial Library of Mane. It is finely made, a testament to the artisants of the Sigil that spend their lives perfecting the bookbinding arts of the Sigil.

Quick Analysis

The interior of the tome yields that the Voces Diablerium was first submitted to the Library 73 years ago by Saecii Vel III during the reign of Catocus Selnaechi, and approved by the Council after 13 years of review. This copy is a reproduction made 8 years ago for Grigori Mulvian, with a mark indicating his rank on the High Council. No other personal notes are present, though the book looks worn enough to indicate it was referred to with some frequency.   The subject matter of the book is the emergence of visions and portents among madmen, seers, and local shamans of various peoples surrounding Waxwing.

Notable Quotes

"To find meaning in the mad has so often been regarded as a fool's errand, their words senseless, babbled like a river run like a snake. But who amongst us hasn't spoken to our lessers, and found our words imcomprehensible to those who minds are not attuned to our learning. Perhaps it is so with the mad, that they have ears for a tune that to us is rendered deaf."
