Polis

Polis is alternatively simple known as the Sigil, or the Height of Mane. It is one of the most advanced cities in the Known World boasting the Codex which hosts the Library of Mane and the Seat of the Seven Voices, representing the writings of the First Settlers. It lost its power as the Known World developed due to its remote location and as trade lead to its being supplanted by more central locations.
It now hosts hundreds of thousands of refugees and religious seekers, its reputation in the land greatly increased due to the ash and flames from Waxwing missing it.
