Viamer

Due north of Halso and west of Ediphas, at the mouth of Gryphon Bay, the rich opal mining town of Viamer can be found.

Darkport got it's name from the smoke clouds that used to drift north from Charwood back when they use to make charcoal there. Both districts are primarily home to workers and their families.
South District is home to the upper middle class of the town and most of the finer craftsmen can be found here.
Cherry Port looks like most other ports but the district is large enough to include a fair amount of nicer houses as well.
West Ward is where the merchant houses and the upper class can be found.
Forest Side is the largest district, as well as the newest inside the town wall. It holds a mixture of lower to upper middle class homes and establishments as well as a large open air bazaar and a park.
Farmers and farmhands make up the inhabitants of Blackridge.
Apple Street used to be a large orchard but that was torn down as the town wall was moved when Forest Side was built. Now it hold inns, taverns and houses of ill repute. The southern road leads to Halso.
They main feature of East Ward is the War Academy. Almost all Hobgoblins in the area will attend it for at least one year.
With the exception of the House of Denarion, all other major churches can be found in Sunrise Quarter as well as a number of hostels who mainly caters to pilgrims and other faithful travellers. The road to the east leads to Ediphas.
The Castle in Viamer differs in a number of ways from what one would expect in a town of this size. While it has the council chambers as well as a a decent number of staterooms for the councillors and guest, none of them lives here full time, only the steward and some of the servants call it home. One of the city guards barracks can be found here and in the basement beneath it lies the prison.

Government

The Merchant Council is the governing body, compromised of the 13 most influential merchants in the city. In addition to this, certain parties in the city are allowed to attend the council's meetings to give advice and insight into matters not directly related to commerce. Some of these include the High Priest, the Guild Master of House Gryphon and the Hobgoblin Warmasters.

Industry & Trade

Opals and pearls are shipped both at sea and along the river going south.

Bounty Hunters Guild: House Gryphon can be found next to the bridge between South District and Forest Side, on the west riverbank.

Natural Resources

Large opal mines south of the town, pearl farms in the waters to the north. Large fields to the west of town provides grain and the forests to the south and east provides timber.
