Personal history
Jericho was born in the city of Basilica to a family of candle-makers. Even from a young age, his ability to rapidly process information made him ideal for running a business. This talent would prove to his undoing however, when he accidentally discovered that his family was smuggling poisons on the black market for the green dragon Zahhak. The resulting argument was overheard by a passing constable, causing the candle shop to be raided and the Naaji family to be arrested. Zahhak heard about the raid and sent an assassin to the lockup to cover his tracks. The assassin was able to kill almost all of the Naaji family, but was in turn killed by Jericho via a thrown rock. Jericho got the blame for both the smuggling and the murder of his family, and was sent down to the underground prison Balor's Mourn on a life sentence. The mild-mannered Jericho had to learn quickly in order to survive, dodging around the other inmates and occasionally fighting for his life.
Eight years later, Jericho's escape plan was complete. And it almost went perfectly, if he hadn't had taken just one wrong turn through a locked door. He saw two guards, heads enclosed in darkened glass, throw another prisoner in front of a massive full length mirror. This mirror was not silver like most mirrors, or even any colour Jericho had ever seen before - it laid heavily on his eyes like a stone. The prisoner, completely reflected by the mirror began to scream. His fingers cracked and twisted backwards, his eyes and mouth sank into his skull and burst out the back, his feet wrenched themselves around. He died, his body hideously warped, and Jericho ran for his life to the surface and freedom.
Currently working as a private investigator, candle seller and secret smuggler of illicit substances, Jericho still finds the time to plot his revenge on Zahhak and what he saw within that locked room.
Education
Jericho was taught how to read and write by his family, as well as all the necessary skills for running a business. His ability to absorb information quickly led to him acquiring all kinds of knowledge over the years both in and out of prison.
Employment
Has worked as a candle maker both before and after his release. These days however, he uses what he learned in prison to smuggle illicit substances out to buyers - usually to bypass customs taxes. While he will smuggle anything he considers "safe", he will outright refuse to handle anything deadly, especially poisons.
A nervous man with a talent for deductive reasoning and some skill with a blade. Is conducting a long-term investigation into something unwise.
