Table Rules

0- Sex is never in-scene, always fade to black. 1- We are telling a collaborative story and the most important thing is that everyone is having fun. In the spirit of maintaining that, we're going to use the lines and veils system at the table (described below). 2- No child PCs. Just... no. 3- You get one chance to stack a dice tower per session. When it falls, you gotta stop. I have extra fidgets.

Veils and Lines

These are basically safety protocols to ensure everyone stays safe and having fun at the table. A veil refers to fading to black and summarizing a scene that's uncomfortable for any reason (ex. an interrogation scene), while a line is a boundary we never cross at the table (ex. SA). At any point, you can use these keywords to signal we need to step back and adjust something.
pause/play: if something happens, or something gets to be too much, anyone can just call for a pause to take a breath, regroup and refocus
skip: calling for a skip is just that. we've reached a topic or scene that is upsetting for you, and we will skip over whatever is going on to the next scene, and if it is important to the story, we can just give a general explanation of what is need-to-know and keep going. no explanation is required.
rewind: this can really be for anything, and is used sometimes in different improv things. if a scene isn't going the way that we intended, or you learned something that wasn't realized before you took an action, we can rewind and start from there without the misunderstanding or that type of thing (Credit to Fae, Dope DM and Reddit Rogue for phrasing of explanations.)
