The Imperial Elven Navy is the embodiment of elven superiority, perpetually looking down on non-elves and even non-starborn elves. They allow such beings into their fleet as mercs or foreign-legion style crew but don't treat them with a whole lot of respect overall. Any individual captain or commander/admiral might be less rude about it, but the fleet as a whole is arrogant
