An anomalous android whose fragmented memory has provoked several disturbances in its behavior. Its damaged skin and exposed endoskeleton reveal a history of conflict and violence.
It is however rather calm and methodical, despite its appearance.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Endomorph: The male version of the M.A.R.S unit features a hulking chasis, it was designed to employ multiple layers of duralloy and plasteel, protecting more vital components and hydraulics within.

Body Features

Regular M.A.R.S units carry two hydrogen fuel cells which are capable of powering a unit for an estimate of 140 years, 70 more if economy mode is enabled on a 12 to 12 hour basis. This M.A.R.S in particular seems to carry a more potent energy cell, but the true aspects of this piece of hardware still remain a mystery...
The skin like tissue cladding this unit has been severely damage, it appears as if it was made to barely withstand any inflicted damage, it now reveals the true identity of this being. As a consequence, this unit is now more uncanny than it already was before, as multiple gaps in its skin layer reveal the metallic endoskeleton located within.

This unit's metallic cranium was once covered by a layer of skin to hide its true identity. Half of this unit's facial skin has gone missing, an uncanny balance between horrendous truth and sweet farse.

Personal history

Model no. 2805's story begins at the end, and progressively returns back to the past, with several gaps and hole in its composition.
Model no. 2805 had been purchased by New Vegas's mayor Adam Gainsborough in early 2048, under the pretext of a "corporative bargain" by Anderson Robotics. Model no. 2805 is unable to recall exactly why it had been sold, let alone activated in the first place, before the transaction had even taken place.
However, Model no. 2085 is fully aware that these black market transactions were usually made when the "product" in question was a faulty or under-performing unit. Some of these transactions were even made as an excuse for decimation, a sort of punishment that some machines would get for failing to complete their objectives, it is often said that this fate was worse than being "decommissioned".
Model no. 2085 can, however, recall its purpose before it was sold. It was a specialized unit tasked with infiltrating adversary facilities and establishments, collecting as much intelligence as possible and even assassinate specific human or non-human targets. Model no. 2085 also took part in protecting key members of Anderson's Robotics, it even admitted protecting Vincent Anderson at one point, for a brief amount of time.
The M.A.R.S (Mobile-Assault Reaction System) is an all-purpose infiltration system that is also capable of acting as an assault unit, with enough integrated armor to withstand anti-materiel small arms fire as well as shaped charges. Its design also includes ports and applique railings for external weapons systems, although these are optional packages.
Model no. 2085 was produced at an unspecified date, in an unspecified facility. Its memory bank has been purposefully erased so most of its past is now shrouded in mystery.

Mental Trauma

Although rare, Model no. 2805 suffers from unexplicable episodes of confusion, rendering the unit inoperable as it enters a sort of reboot sequence. Model no. 2805 is fully aware of this situation, although the reason for this situation is not particularly clear.

Intellectual Characteristics

Model no. 2805 is installed with the latest operating system employed by Anderson Robotics, odd that such an outcast machine keeps getting regular updates despite the severed connection from the company's mainframe. Several pre-installed datafiles within 2805's artificial limbic system bank feature protocols and knowledge on all the essential needs for an infiltration unit, these are tactics, CQB, human phisiology, basic psichology and others. Sufice to say, the technology behind Anderson's Robotics products is remarkable, in more public and legal terms it is assured by the company that this aproximation to human nature is due to the advanced positronic brain employed in most of its more sophisticated units, in reality, reverse engineering efforts conducted on purchased or captured units revealed little to no usable information regarding the complexity behind the hardware, so most of the technology is on the anomalous category.

Morality & Philosophy

Model no. 2805 is a sworn defender and advocate of pragmatism, he believes that the world works just like a machine would and that some of the bolts, straps and gears need to be "replaced" over-time. Very skeptical of humanity, Model no. 2805 is not confident that, at this pace, human society will be able to properly thrive in the upcoming century, let alone the one they're already in.
