Snowcap Vineyard
Snowcap is located on the north western slopes, right on the boundary where the valley warmth insures a halt of the encroaching Spine permafrost.
Purpose / Function
To produce, if not the finest wine in the valley, certainly the most expensive.
Architecture
A wide avenue of poplars and topiary ushers the way to the formal front gate, over which a fine ocher archway stands, holding aloft the symbol of Snowcap Vineyard, a polished elm wood sign emblazoned with an intricate replication of the Three Peaks that rise on the horizon beyond. The lines are expert and appear to have been burned into the wood with a fine heat, while the snow caps of each peak are gilded in white silver that shines like a mirror.
From beyond the steel gate choked with vines and pink and blue flowers, the avenue continues on to a wide two story manor house built in the style of a country villa in the center of the grape fields. Posted along the paved road are a few stalls with bored looking hosts that offer samples of fresh grapes, raisins, juice, cheese, and wine in small porcelain cups.
Alternative Names
The elves called the natural vines (loosely translated) "Selune's sweet blood."
