the monument of the city in the magnificent canyon

in the ruins of the city in the Magnificent canyon there were several platforms that just floated in the air. Droffilc found that in there was a small device holding these huge slabs of granite up. these platforms are theorized to have been used as places of worship and large feasts and festivities. in the center of one of these is a large fish probably something to do with there religion because most of the community was fishermans so the believe this is the place where they worshiped. another one has many tables in a large circle around  a large area in the center Droffilc thought that this was used as an area of feasting and dancing. on one said plat form is a sculpture of a warrior spearing a large fish this is believed to be for the warrior that claimed the large fish or it is also thought to be a tale or a part of there religion. the warrior statue is made of iron and is heavily rusted because of the harsh winds in the canyon. the granite slabs don't seem to have any weathering or erosion to them it is theorized that this is because of the magic keeping it afloat is also preventing it from eroding. the tables were all wooden and bolted into the granite platform and where made out of would so they have eroded pretty heavily and there isn't much left the fish statue is a stone sculpture and doesn't seem to have any erosion which is very strange and so they think that the inhabitants of the old city must have put magic on it so it wouldn't deteriorate. each one in the center of the platform has a metal box set in the Granite slabs that keeps the slab afloat.
