the frosted trees

the frosted trees are only found in the frozen wastes. these trees were great trees that were all across the frozen wastes when the frozen wastes froze they created the frosted trees. all of the frosted trees are frozen to the core since the grow this way they are incredibly strong. chopping down a frosted tree takes much more work to chop down than a normal tree because they are frozen. the frosted trees are usually harvested by magic because the wood is so strong. the ice elves use this wood to create the structure of there tents that they then cover with hides. the frosted trees grow in a strange way when a seed falls on the ground it starts to grow because the ground is frozen. the seeds start to grow and after many years they eventually have there roots break into the ground so it has a solid foundation. the frosted trees have adapted so that they do not need much sunlight to grow that also use the snow like water to help it grow. the color of the wood is a light blue and the bark is a crystal like dark blue the leaves are like white crystals. the ice elves use this wood for many purposes and it is highly sought after by the elven empires. the ice elves use it for weapons and some master craftsman carve the wood to make wonderful toys and instruments. this wood is there man resource they trade with the elven empires the even trade toys and wonderful instruments that are very durable and expertly made.

they eventually wither away after 300 years.

Conservation Status

this plat is not under any protection and it thrives because it is rarely used.

the tallest tree has grown to around 140 feet tall.
