Toshi's Quest, Pt. I
Master Toshi forms an alliance with Vero the Siren to search for the Seven Magical Balls (which have dispersed throughout the world after Rachel's wish) in order to send Pheromone Shingen back to the past along with the Magical Balls so he could save the people of Kai, whom Toshi made a pact with.

Master Toshi forms an alliance with Vero the Siren to search for the Seven Magical Balls (which have dispersed throughout the world after Rachel's wish) in order to send Pheromone Shingen back to the past along with the Magical Balls so he could save the people of Kai, whom Toshi made a pact with.
In return Toshi would teach Vero the secret technique Feral Moan which he learnt from Shingen. Accompanying them is also Yukimura the Wolf, made from snow and autumn leaves who for some reason did not like attracting female wolves.
In the meantime Sindy and Toemeyo have been visiting the villages of the Kingdom and converting followers of Son. They had stumbled across one of the magical balls along the way and Sindy had swallowed it so that Master Toshi would not be able to recover it.
Realising they made a mistake, their other mission was now to find out a way to remove it...
Master Toshi also went around to the villagers and began asking for balls. Not finding any they continued travelling and stumbled across the shack of Creaky, the Tsumtsum Witch. Brewing her elixir of life, Master Toshi contemplated stealing some so that he could give Shingen a human form. However, he decided against this when they discovered that Creaky was in fact making this potion for her husband Hideyoshi who had been turned into a tsum tsum when they were invited into her shack.
Toshi tells Creaky about Shingen's condition and whether or not she might know where to find balls or whether she had any. Creaky said she doesn't have any, so she kicks them out but not before telling them to go look in the Kerorun Mountains, the birthplace of the frog.
Master Toshi, Vero, Shingen and Yukimura go to the Kerorun Mountains and discover the Swordmaster Kenshin and the Sword Spirit Isehime. Having been sent to this world, Kenshin vowed to take 10,000 heads with his blade to become one with Isehime forever. To achieve this goal he waged war against his mortal enemy Oda Nobunaga, who had a clan of nomadic horseriders with hunting eagles living near the base of the mountain.
However when Master Toshi and his party decided to meet with Nobunaga, they discovered that he was in fact a 20 metre tall golden eagle. Master Toshi asked if Nobunaga could give him a lift up the mountain, but then at this moment a water source up on the mountain exploded and the cryptid known as Peanut Anon was coming for them.
