Sorissa

(a.k.a. Shrolath)

A dragonkin with bronze scales and an array of horns that go down the back of her head and to her neck. She wears thick leathers fit for combat.   She was discovered wounded and near death, dying to a curse unknown to the party. She claimed to have sneaked aboard the colony ship that the new arrivals traveled to the Ring with and escaped once they arrived at their destination. Believing to be living her last moments, speaking through a potion that translated for her, she urged the party to make sure that their world does not support these new arrivals as they represent an evil and oppressive regime who will only betray and invade the Ring in return.   Despite saying goodbye to the party and consigning herself to death, she tracked and found them two days later, her curse having progressed even further, but she obviously had new resolve to continue living.
  • Update after Session 11 --
  • After finally being rid of her curse through a great deal of effort by the party, she came to an agreement with the party to continue to travel with them as she had made her intensions clear that she wanted to reach the Asrethi city-ship to resume her efforts in fighting against the dynasty's influence. As a thank you for the party saving her life, the first of many thanks according to her, she came forward with some honesty and told the party that her true name was Sorissa, and not Shrolath. When she was first discovered, as there was little trust between her and the party, she introduced herself as Shrolath. While now cause for some confusion when calling to her, she hoped this would strengthen her relationship with the party.
