Session 4 - Out of the frying pan...

General Summary

After battling the ghasts the party searched through the ruined and abandoned church, finding some minor amount of treasure but most importantly finding a significant amount of vellum which they were after. They returned to Thirdan and assist Priest Annal in her makeshift ritual to halt the progress of Shrolath's curse. However, after the ritual finishes, Priest Gili returns to the church with a number of guards asking the party to step aside for them to arrest Shrolath and imprison her until they can be absolutely sure that she is not a demon.
The party, unable to stand by this injustice to someone they regard as a victim if not a friend, does not give way which leads an altercation with the guards (forced by priest Gili's repeated insistence). After exchanging mostly non-lethal blows, the party defeat the guards and escape the church, running through the streets and escaping the town into small copse of trees almost an hour out of the town.
