Session 16 - Late night visit

General Summary

With the discovery of the abduction of Sturks, the party began their own investigation, trying to see if they could find any clues regarding the kidnapping, even asking for help from Sorissa. Even after the arrival of the guard, they could only conclude so much regarding the kidnapping despite their efforts, due to the difficult to investigate nature of environment of the tunnels. They concluded that the kidnappers were rich, because it is likely they used magic to silence themselves, and that they were amateurs (according to Sorissa) as there had been fighting in the room so it hadn't been a clean kidnapping.
After all of that, the party decided to pursue other means of investigation the next day and rest for the night, though Hemlock still went out to the city to see if she could get a head start. Upon returning to the inn, she found a group of very suspicious individuals waiting in the main hall outside of their "rooms". She feigned ignorance, got into her room, and with Hawthorn's help woke everyone up saving them from an ambush. A fight ensued, in which two of the attackers were killed, two escaped, but the party managed to subdue the leader alive, and tie her up for questioning.
