The Riftlands' Primary Defense

Government

The Resistance is governed by a leader, typically chosen by supernatural means, and a Council chosen by them. The Council advises the leader and often holds votes on important matters.

Defences

The Resistance is in a valley, surrounded by steep, rocky mountains that serve as its walls. Other than this, the Resistance defends itself using magic and occasionally its creatures (dragons, wolverns, etc.)

Industry & Trade

The Resistance is rathr isolated and does not directly trade with any other civilizations in the Riftlands.

Infrastructure

At the Resistance's center is a huge, castle-like structure known as the Central Hall. This is where the Council and leader gather to discuss important matters and also serves as the leader's residence. Around it are the many cabins and barracks, where the Resistance members reside.

Natural Resources

Surrounded by forests, the Resistance has a surplus of lumber and uses it as fuel and for construction. Coal can also be found in the surrounding mountain ranges. With the Silver River cutting through the center of the valley, the Resistance also has a constant supply of water.
