Brenner Corporation

Public Agenda

To the public, the Brenner Corporation presents itself as a power facility to avoid suspicion. However, in actuality, their main focus is engineering biological weapons for the U.S. army during the Cold War. All of their tests are government-funded. Their tests are often dangerous and even inhumane; they often perform tests on unsuspecting children - some of them orphans, others having been taken from their parents for experimentation without the parent's knowledge. They are not opposed to using cruel methods to get their way, sometimes resorting to shock therapy and other risky procedures on their "patients". None of whom can consent to said procedures.
The corporation is also particularly interested in parallel universes. Using advanced science they aim to create doorways into alternate worlds, mostly for the purpose of scientific research, but sometimes for more malicious reasons as well. Their experiments often have a negative effect on the world around them and cause extensive damage to both the environment and to innocent people. And yet, the government continues to fund them out of seer determination to out-do the Soviet Union.

Assets

The Brenner Corporation has several assets under its control, including advanced surveillance technology, weapons, several buildings across the country, as well as many agents, scientists, and researchers. And, since they are funded by the U.S. government, they also have a lot of money at their disposal.
