Forged Calvary

The Forged Cavalry was created by Kall'Isan Devorante in 1968 A.C., just before the Battle of Forged Hill, they got their name because their first engagement with enemy forces was at the Battle of Forged Hill. Their name also relates to their rigorous training, and their dangerous operations. In their first battle they had 750 soldiers, 250 of them died. The remaining cavalry all survived until the final battle of the War of Immortals, 1-2 years later. Of those soldiers, 190 came out of the battle, and their leader, Lieutenant Biltran, was dead. Biltran was replaced with Rinkling in the year following the battle, and Rinkling served as the head of the Forged Cavalry until his death, 59 years later, after the Battle of The Hanging Valley.

Equipment

Each soldier has a basic first aid and mess kit, used for healing minor wounds, and feeding the soldier for up to 5 days if they get split from the main army.

Weaponry

Each soldier carries with them a longsword, an arming sword, a kite shield, a spear, and a bow. The spear and bow are both attached to the saddle, while the quiver is strapped to the thigh, the arming sword is in a sword frog on the hip, and the longsword is slug over the back with a scabbard bound with a leather strap. The kite shield is simply held by the soldier, but they can hook it to their belt should they get tired.

They all have horses, the supply line has around 250 extra horses. In total there are 750 horses set aside for this unit.
