The Restless Sea

The 7 Tribes of the Restless Sea have been surrounded by a raging storm for as long as their history records. They live in the Calms, water which is not affected by the magical storm and is completely still save for the ships that glide through the water. There is a large island that pierces through the storm to the north of the Calms called Il Gonduur which offers an escape from the Calms but no adventurers have ever returned, not for a lack of trying. Large expedition forces are recruited to enter the rainforest of Il Gonduur to find a way out and to learn why the 7 Tribes were placed there in the first place. Meanwhile, occult forces seek to understand the storm and harness its energies for magic either to grow the storm to gather its power or forever dispel it.
