Kandor, or the Kingdom of Trees is the sister kingdom to the woodland realm of Neldorcar. It has been ruled by a powerful Elven family for generations. The kingdom is known for their ancient Oak tree which was said to be planted by the goddess E'anor. Kandor is full of beautiful forests where most of their people dwell. Kandor is said to be one of the most prosperous of the elven kingdoms.
History
In the year 76 of the First Era, two elven brothers Ievis Elvyre and Aimer Elvyre would set out from the elven kingdom of Shalviya towards the west. Ievis would go on to settle the Elven kingdom of Neldorcar, while his brother Aimer would settle the kingdom of Kandor. For centuries the elven kingdoms lived together peacefully. There was even talk about the kingdoms unifying under one banner. When Thorland invaded Neldorcar, Kandor refused to come to their aid and all friendly relations between the two kingdoms came to an end, and a horrible rivalry began. Aemer would slowly grow power-hungry and in 387 Kandor would launch an invasion of Palia to the far north. The war lasted 6 months, Kandor would drastically overextend their supply lines and would lose almost their entire army attempting to conquer Palia. When the Great war came Kandor was extremely weak and Somia took advantage of this, The Neldorcarian kingdom took the capital of Kandor within the first few weeks of The Great war. Watonea would come to their aid and would be the only reason Kandor didn't fall during The Great war. Kandor is currently in a state of repair, most of their army is destroyed and the majority of their cities have been sacked.
