The Realm

The Realm is a collection of worlds, once split apart by immense magic but brought back together by it. After nearly more than one an a half million years of intelligent life, society has advanced beyond imagination. People live in peace, under the guidance of peaceful deities with technology and magic hand in hand. That's how it was supposed to be.

The First Fray- the largest war the world had ever seen. After the death of four out of six of the main leaders of the world and the disappearance of two, worlds fell into anarchy. Many were lost to the edges, detaching from the core in the Inbetweens. Entire races went extinct from attacks both physical and biological. The inciter of the war- so they said- was humanity. The only society with technology, at the time.

Everything went wrong after that. The first and third orbit deities fell to curses and seals. The ancient artifacts that governed magic were stolen and hidden away. The Great Flame ravaged the land, a famine ripped civilizations apart, entire worlds were destroyed and became desolate. We lost access to one of the most important branches of magic. We tried to bring our world back into order, tried to return to the Abundant Eras, but nothing worked.

Everything fell apart, all because of humanity's cruelty.
