The Wall

The great gleaming steel edifice rising to the south of Castle Ridge is simply known as "The Wall." The Wall acts as a forward base of operations for the defense of Castle Ridge from the emotionless clanking horde of robot soldiers that constantly march north from the Electro Wastes.
Visible from vast distances, The Wall stands 500 feet tall and is a constant reminder of the potential for the uprising and invasion of the clanking horde.

Purpose / Function

The Wall acts as a forward base of operations for the defesne of Castle Ridge from the never ending invasions from the emotionless clanking horde of robot soldiers that are constantly being manufactured in the Electro Wastes.
Aside from being a giant physical fortification, The Wall also houses Queensguard infantry, grav-tanks, and outposts of arcane and technological study. It is not uncommon for Eternity's greatest technological advancements to originate from the labs and workshops of The Wall.

Alterations

Over time, The Wall has received substantial technical upgrades, including the implementation of ion-energized-laser-rays, an energized weapon-type devastating to the clanking horde's circuitry.

Architecture

The design of The Wall appears simple at first. From a distance the fortification is a simple, if huge, steel barrier that rises into the clouds. The closer one gets, however, the more apparent the incredible technology that is integrated into The Wall's construction.
Barrier fields, shield generators, force dome manipulators, and ion-energized-laser-rays all protrude from the various corners and parapets of the incredible structure.

History

The Wall was constructed after the First Machine Wars, wherein the Queensguard and other defenders of Castle Ridge fought back the invasion of the emotionless robot army. The need for advanced defensive fortification was obvious and the Phoenix Queen assigned her best technicians to design and construct the enormous barrier between Castle Ridge and the Electro Wastes.
